Assess Abilities
...But how well can they do the job?
Cognitive ability tests have the highest predictive validity of any pre-selection method that you may care to use.
Australian Ability Tests
One part of successfully choosing the best candidate for a position is knowing what level of abilities the candidate will bring to the job. The tests listed below were developed and normed in Australia using an Australian sample. They are designed to be administered online in a supervised environment at your site. On completion of each test, Assess Systems is notified and a report forwarded immediately to the client. They can be administered individually, or in any combination, with or without Assess Professional, SalesMax or Select.
- Verbal and Numerical Reasoning
- Measures: verbal and numerical reasoning ability at the General Level (technical, clerical and administrative, customer service, sales) or Professional Level (positions that require a high level of reasoning ability, such as managers, engineers and marketing professionals).

- Comments: TAR has two forms — The Short Form (45 items/20minutes) for technical, clerical and administrative, customer service, sales and the Long Form (60 items/25 minutes) for professional positions that require a high level of reasoning ability, such as managers, engineers and marketing professionals.
- Applied Reading Test Second Edition (ART)
