The Assess Standard Selection Report provides work-related personality assessment to assist in the selection of managers, supervisors and professionals. The reports are written in a concise, straightforward narrative and provide detailed descriptions of:
- Intellectual Abilities
- Thinking Style
- Work Approach and Motivation
- Interpersonal Style
- Approach to Influencing or Supervising Others
- Interview and Reference Probes
- Management Suggestions (with specific resources)
- Graphic Profile compared to one of 72 job templates

One part of successfully choosing the best candidate for a position is knowing what level of abilities the candidate will bring to the job. ASSESS is designed to integrate seven different ability tests, a feature that is unique to our system. Depending upon the requirements of the position and the time available for testing, a candidate may be given any combination of these tests.

The personality detail in the Standard Selection Report is presented differently to that in the Competency Reports.
Without competency anchors, the personality detail is presented in the traditional format of narrative descriptors around the three areas of Thinking, Working and Relating.

This section provides Interview and Reference Probes for following up and obtaining more information regarding this candidate's potential problem characteristics. For each identified 'Topic', ASSESS suggests several questions to assist you in interviewing the candidate.
ASSESS also generates several questions to facilitate discussion of potential problem characteristics with the candidate's references.

This section suggests ways to effectively manage this person. Each management suggestion identifies a potential problem area for this candidate and recommends an approach to optimising his/her effectiveness on the job. For some suggestions, reference books and other resources are listed for additional recommendations.

Applying one of our 72 job templates, the Graphic Profile provides an overview of the candidate's results.
The templates were derived from data collected from our clients over the years. They represent the success ranges for the personality and ability characteristics measured by ASSESS.
Thus, the candidate can be compared to what is typical for the particular job that he/she is applying for.
